Meet Christen!

Christen Clinkscales is a commercial and editorial food stylist based in South Carolina. Christen also works as a recipe developer, food photographer, and social media manager for clients. She grew up in Greenville, SC, and attended Clemson University. After college, she moved to New York City, where she worked in marketing for 5 years. During her time in New York City, she attended night classes at the Institute of Culinary Education before relocating back to Greenville, SC.

Christen has worked as a food stylist for Hardee’s, Wicked Weed Brewing, The UPS Store, FarmRich Foods, Spinx Gas Station, and Idahoan Foods. She has worked with agencies like EP+Co, Cargo Agency, Get Engaged Media, and The Brandon Agency on behalf of their clients.

In addition to food styling, Christen Clinkscales is a commercial photographer based in the Upstate of South Carolina, working throughout the Southeast and beyond. She partners with local restaurants, food festivals, and regional businesses to create compelling commercial and editorial imagery, while also collaborating with national brands such as Sauer Brands, the makers of Duke’s Mayonnaise, and Spinx. With a background in marketing and a deep understanding of visual storytelling, Christen brings a strategic, brand-forward approach to every shoot, ensuring imagery is both visually striking and purpose-driven.

Christen has run her social media management agency, CC Media, since 2021, where she helps businesses of all kinds elevate their online presence with scroll-stopping content, strategic social media management, and Meta Advertising.

Christen is a fierce advocate for local businesses and is very involved in the food scene in Greenville through her food Instagram account @ChristenEats, which she started in 2016. Through her account, she has worked with brands such as Duke’s Mayonnaise, euphoria, Visit Beaufort, Visit York County SC, Harris Teeter, L’Oleologie Olive Oil, Riceland Foods, and Wisconsin Cheese.

Christen also made regular appearances for 2 years on FOX Carolina’s “What’s for Dinner” cooking segment.

Besides cooking, styling, and working on her photography skills, Christen enjoys spending time at home with her animals and traveling the world.
